Don't be put off by the lingo!!! Melt & Pour ingredient my look scary but those are just the fancy names for very simple ingredients. All melt & pour soap bases are 100% vegetable based and biodegradable with no artificial colors added and no animal testing.

Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate, Sorbitol, Sodium Laurate

Shea Butter

Aloe Vera

An explaination of all those big scary words!

Aqua = Water

Glycerin = A natural compound derived from vegetables (and sometimes animals, but not here!)      used as a sweetner and moisturerizer.

Lauric Acid = Found naturally in many plants and vegetable oils. The largest concerntration of can  actually be found in breast milk!

Pentasodium Pentetate = The salt of Pentetic acid. Found naturally in plants that use it to transport  iron. It is also used internally to treat heavy metal related deseases and poisoning!

Propylene Glycol = A synthetic, colorless, odorless, tasteless liquid that belongs to the same chemical class as alcohol! 

Sodium Chloride = Common salt!

Sodium Citrate = The sodium salt of citric acid (found naturally in citrus fruits). Commonly know as 'sour salt" it is used as a food additive. 

Sodium Laurate = The sodium salt of lauric acid (found naturally in vegetable oils).

Sodium Laureth Sulfate = A natural compound derived from various vegetable oils used as a lathering agent and emulsifier.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate = Sodium salt of Lauryl Sulfate found naturally in vegetable oils used as a lathering agent and emulsifier.

Sodium Myristate = Salt of Myristate Acid (an acid that occurs naturally in some foods) used as a conditioning and cleansing agent and emulsifier.

Sodium Oleate = Sodium Oleate is the sodium salt of oleic acid, a common unsaturated fatty acid found in many animals and plants such as olive oil.

Sodium Stearate = Salts found in the fatty acids of vegetables and animal fats. 

Sorbitol = A type of carbohydrate called sugar alcohol. It is mainly derived from potato starch though can be found naturally in fruits such as apples and pears. It is used as a moisturizer. 

Stearic Acid = Stearic acid is a white, waxy, natural acid found in animal and vegetable fats. It is used as a hardening agent for soaps.

Tetrasodium Etidronate = A preservative Made from Formaldehyde.

Titanium Dioxide = The naturally occurring oxide of titanium used a a pigment
